04 / Personal build

Vision-guided
watering robot

A robot that identifies plant pots, estimates their distance, and plans where to aim the water. I developed the sensing and planning sequence and built the hardware.

01 / Perception to action

Find a pot, then aim the water.

The build connects three steps: identifying plant pots in the camera view, estimating their distance, and planning the water trajectory.

I worked on both the hardware and the software sequence, from the vision input through to the watering action.

  1. 01Identify plant pot
  2. 02Estimate distance
  3. 03Plan trajectory
  4. 04Aim water
02 / Demonstration

The outdoor prototype.

The clip shows the robot aiming and spraying toward pots in an outdoor setup. It brings the sensing, planning, and physical watering mechanism together in one demonstration.

This footage documents the prototype. It does not measure targeting accuracy or long-term watering reliability.
